New Hilton Hotel coming to Kusadasi

Turkey’s Aegean resort of Kusadasi is set to see its first Hilton Double Tree hotel open in March 2013.

Set to be placed in a prime location just across the marina, the hotel will have 50 suite rooms. The project will see a historical building in Kusadasi restored to become the new hotel. Should the hotel prove to be a success, there are plans to increase the number of rooms to 87 in the future.

Hilton Worldwide first made inroads to Turkey more than 50 years ago, and has so far accumulated 20 hotels. Hilton plans on adding 13 new hotels in Turkey within the near future as Hilton looks to capitalise on the growth and development of Turkey’s tourism market in recent years.

Recently more investors have been looking to invest in hotels in Turkey; Turkey’s hotel market is thriving as tourists see Turkey as a prime choice for holidays in Turkey over previous prime choices such as Spain and Portugal. The Turkish Mediterranean is proving to be a luxury draw for tourists in Turkey.
