General Manager of the organising company of the exhibition, Hacer Aydin, said: “We reached a greater number of visitors and participants at this year’s fair.” Aydin said that the expected growth of the exhibition to be measured at 15 percent over 2010.

This year the event saw Argentina, Italy, Malaysia, Czech Republic and some other nations represented for the first time, Aydin said: “The increasing number of countries participating in EMITT each year demonstrates the avid interest in Turkish tourism.”

Tourism in Turkey has steadily increased in recent years as more tourists look towards the Mediterranean coastline of Turkey for holidays, renting villas in Turkey and even moving to Turkey to sample the picturesque lifestyle that can be sought in Turkey.
