British Chamber of Commerce looking for economic opportunities in Turkey

An official from the British Chamber of Commerce (BCCT) has said that they are looking at economic opportunities in Turkey outside of Istanbul.

Melvin Cottrell, the vice president of BCCT, said: “There has been a vibrant economy in Turkey’s south eastern province Gaziantep, the central provinces of Kayseri and Konya and the western province of Manisa in recent years.”

Cottrell was in Turkey visiting the Manisa Trade and Industry Chamber. Cottrell said that there are lots of economic opportunities in Turkey at the present time, and not only in Istanbul, he said: “We would miss a lot of we were just in Istanbul.”

Turkey is currently a hot spot for investment in all current sectors. The BCCT recognises the potential that Turkey possesses. Turkey is growing at a rapid rate and companies are clustering to invest in Turkey and benefit from the economic gains to be had in Turkey.
