More development expected in Northern Turkey

The much awaited OR-Gİ airport on the seaside between the Black Sea provinces of Ordu and Giresun in northern Turkey is finally set to be begin. Officials laid the foundations last week and it will be first airport built on sea.

The airport has been in the planning stages since 2008 and has finally got the go ahead after years of studies and feasibility works.

As two strategic provinces in the northern region, there are more developments such as more roads to come in the area.

Ministers hope the Black Sea province will become a hub of sea transportation, tourism and Turkey property investments.
