Turkey holiday spot made more secure

Turkey’s second largest tourist destination, Bodrum has had a wireless surveillance system installed to make it more secure for the over 1.5 million tourists who visit during the summer months.

To ensure the protection of tourists and locals alike, the Bodrum Police Department commissioned the construction of a city-wide wireless video surveillance network, utilising Proxim Wireless Tsunami™ MP.16 3500 licensed band WiMAX radios.

Not that there are many crimes in this popular destination but it is always good to know security is being taken seriously.  Now holidaymakers and Bodrum property owners can be assured in the safety of the area.

This sounds good if it is for security but not if its another case of Big Brother is watching what your doing.
