Global Investments to increase Jobs in Turkey

Hot on the heels of India, Turkey is fast becoming an international hub for call centres. This is due to the country’s favourable geographical location and its young and dynamic population.

According to the Call Centre Association of Turkey, the sector doubled its number of employees from 17,500 to 35,000 between 2003 and 2008, and is expected to keep on growing.

Global companies also like Turkey because of its high-quality and inexpensive workforce, low cost of communication and efficient technological infrastructure.

This is good news for Turkey’s already booming economy and people looking to move there; expats can be rest assured there will be plenty of work to keep money coming in.

Based on recent trends, it is safe to assume that companies from other sectors will follow the customer sales and marketing services sector into Turkey which will provide an alternative for those not interested in call centre jobs.
